Michael has elevated Hyper IgE Sydrome (HIES), which is a rare primary immunodeficiency disease characterized by skin, lung, and blood abnormalities. Michael will be surprised in front of the entire audience during intermission of the evening’s scheduled performance with his new clarinet.
